I honestly don’t understand the whole “OMG moving parts make phones break” thing. One of my first hones was a Galaxy S2 with a slide out keyboard. I slid it out dozens of time a day for two years and it was as good on the last day as on the first.
Sure they’ve added a motor so now that can fail, but it’s not like building durable motors is hard. People have been doing it for decades.
I mean, yes, moving parts mean more places that things can break, but when your phone is literally covered in glass, the first thing to break is going to be the screen not the slider.
