RB Leipzig keen to sign Emile Smith Rowe permanently
RB Leipzig are planning a surprise move to make Emile Smith Rowe’s loan move from Arsenal permanent, according to Kicker.
The German club plan to renew the 18-year-old’s loan but this time, include an option to make the deal permanent.
Smith Rowe has played just one minute of football for Leipzig but is still shown enough to impress the club.
This lead to the club’s manager Ralf Rangnick admitting:
“He will more than likely be in the squad for the first time.
“He’s trained all week, and gives us another option.
“He hinted in training why we got him.
“He has just a good mix of physique, speed and an incredibly good shooting technique.”

Unai Emery’s update on Konstantinos Mavropanos
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has offered an update on Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Greek defender has made just three appearances for the Gunners this season.
Emery claims that the 21-year-old is working hard to prove his worth at the Emirates.
The Spniahs manager is confident Mavropanos will eventually succeed with his side.
“Papa [Sokratis] is close to Mavropanos.
“I think he is a good example and can tell him about his experiences to use for him to grow up and improve.
“Mavropanos, I think he has a big mentality.
“His mindset was every day to work to improve his fitness and every training session he showed us what we wanted.
“We want to give him the opportunity to train and sometimes to play because I think he has a good future.
“He started playing last year and started with us in pre-season but after he was injured.
“He had a lot of time out of the team and now he is training consistently.
“He played at Watford and Palace and for the last matches we can use him to help us with some big performances.”
