The Ghanaian Movie Industry has been deteriorating for some number of years now which has forced lots of great movie actors in the country to sail to our neighborhood Movie Industry in Nigeria.
Some of the great moviemakers who have fled to Nigeria includes Ghanaian comic and talented actor known in real life as Enock Darko aka Mr Tutu, Nadia Buari, John Dumelo and host of other great actors.
In an exclusive Oilcitytoday interview with Mr Tutu who has been missing in the movie industry for some time after casting Devil Under My Pillow Series, showed on UTV every Sunday at 5pm, he made it clear that, due to the decline of the Ghanaian Movie Industry, he had no option to run away from the country to continue chasing his dreams.
According to the boss of Fooling Nation, the Ghanaian Movie Industry is collapsing due to the lack of sponsors and support back home.
He continued, “Am currently in Nigeria working on lots of movies to revive my career. I have already met almost all the top notch actors there, and it’s a great opportunity for me to prove my talent to them”.
He said, ” I am not getting roles in the Ghanaian movies because our movie industry has collapsed. Also, our local movie directors love using one comedian for all roles untill he fades away”.
The comic actor on whether he had casted a movie role with some of the top Ghanaians actors in Nigeria answered in affirmatively saying “I am currently working on a new movie in Nigeria with actors such as Nadia Buari and John Demelo. These great actors from our homeland have also fled from Ghana due to the collapse of our movie Industry”.
Mr Tutu finally urged all his loving fans to continue praying and supporting him to get to the top for all his loyal enthusiasts to be proud of him.
