One of the dope Fante rappers in Ghana with great pouchIines, Kofi Kinaata, surprised everyone in the studio when he was interviewed on air.He said he would love to a work on any of Culture’s (Joseph Hill) reggae songs.
Kofi Kinaata, who is now ‘talk-of-the-town’ musician with 2 smashing hits #Susuka and #SweetiePie said this while he was on radio interview with DJ Premier on Accra 100.5fm.
According to him, Joseph Hill was the musician he mostly listened to while growing up and the message in his music helped him a lot – message of peace, love and unity.
Even though he said he loved reggae music so much (especially Culture’s) he found himself doing rap music.
Another twist and turn of the saga , his dad is a Reverend Minister who teaches in a Bible School.
Kofi Kinaata has been on the road pushing his new single #SweetiePie, a love song meant for the ladies – the song is tipped to be an anthem for the ladies this Valentine’s Day.
