The Ministry of Fisheries in their quest to protect our seas and its inhabitants has teamed up with one of the Ghana’s creative songwriter from Takoradi, Western Region, Kofi Kinaata to embark on an illegal fishing project.
The Ministry to facilitate the “illegal fishing” project has requested a theme song from the Takoradi-based fante rapper, Kofi Kinaata dubbed “illegal fishing”.
The song is to create awareness by the Ministry of Fisheries to individuals who are unlawfully destroying Ghana’s seas and ant its inhabitants. The song is to wage war against Illegal Fishing during the period of closure announced by the Ministry.
Kofi Kinaata is popularly known in Ghana for such projects supporting the government and other world bodies to combat illegal acts including store-away with UN, and now with illegal fishing with Ministry of Fisheries, Ghana.
