The Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress Mr. Koku Anyidoho has picked up nomination forms on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
Mr. Anyidoho picked the forms from the head office of the Electoral Commission in Accra on Wednesday, 14 September.
Mr. Mahama is seeking a second term in the December polls.
Presidential nominees are expected to pay GHc50,000 as filing fee while parliamentary aspirants will pay GHc10,000.
Four political parties have so far picked presidential nomination forms in a bid to unseat incumbent President Mahama in the December 7 general elections.
Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s party (IPP), Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akwasi Addai Odike of the United Progressive Party (UPP) and Nana Agyenim- Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP) all picked their forms on Tuesday.
