Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has taken a swipe at Ghana’s finest rapper, Sarkodie, describing him as very unprofessional and unreliable.
The Johny hitmaker who was speaking to Bola Ray on Starr FM’s Starr Chat, said that he was no longer a fan of Sarkodie and has no interest in working with him again after a series of disappointments.
Going into details of his allegations, Yemi Alade revealed that on three occasions, Sarkodie has put up a ‘No-show’ even after going into an agreement with her team to have a meeting.
“I’ve really tried my best to really not go into details but the long and short on why I don’t want to dwell on this is that it is super unfair and unprofessional for international acts or any artiste for that matter to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things, you don’t come through at all.. I can count at least three different countries and three different locations where my team and I had an agreement with him (Sarkodie) and he didn’t come through,” Yemi Alade Aladi told Bola Ray on Starr Chat.
“He didn’t even get back to apologise, but I’m cool and not bothered about it. I tried three times, it is enough. We happened to found ourselves in same location in America, South Africa and UK, anytime, we always got thumbs up but the moment we step out of that box to get things done and probably link up at the agreed point, it never happened. It was gross unprofessionalism as far as I’m concerned and I really don’t want to talk about it because I’m like it’s over and I’m done with him.”
