Ghana’s 2016 BET nominee, MzVee has disclosed in an interview that she wished Ghana would have supported her a little bit more.
The Lynx Entertainment act, speaking from LA said;
“I definitely had support from my true fans but there were people that didn’t agree with the situation but at the end of the day you cannot get everyone to be in the same boat with you. It’s like that in every aspect of life. That said I would have wished people supported me much more because when I came to LA other countries were supporting their people and I hope in the future Ghana will do more. But I think I got the support I needed from my true fans the tip toers. I’m happy with the turn out.”
South African record producer and DJ, Black Coffee beat MzVee, Wizkid (Nigeria), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Serge Beynaud (Côte d’Ivoire), AKA (South Africa) and Cassper Nyovest (South Africa) to win the Best International Act (Africa) at the 2016 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
