One of the fastest Ghanaian rising musician, popularly known as Ayesem has finally expressed his disappointment in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board for disregarding his hit song ‘Koti‘ from receiving a single nomination.
The Takoradi based Shock Entertainment signed rapper who recently jumped on a tune with award-winning rapper Flowking Stone, titled “Bronya Ade” made it clear on Amansan Krakye drive show based in Cape Coast that, the VGMA board has to explain to the public why Koti was not nominated for 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to the Takoradi based rapper, he said, “my management team filled Koti for the High Life Song and Song Writer of the year respectively. But I don’t know why the song was not nominated “.
He continued, “I feel cheated for not receiving any nomination at the 2018 VGMA”.
When Ayesem was asked by the host why he never filled for the new artiste of the year, he said, there were a lot of new artistes under the 2018 year of review which became more critical for him to file for that nomination.
The ‘Relationplain’ hitmaker, Ayesem finally revealed to his fans that he has more collaborations in the pipeline and his EP Album is on its way Early Next year consisting of six songs of all genres.
