Prolific and hardworking Ghanaian rapper Nana Yaw Maradonna popularly known as Guru, signed on to his own record label NKZ Music has finally revealed why Wutah, the Ghanaian music duo who broke up some years back were signed on to his recording label after their official break working as a group.
In an exclusive interview with Cape Coast based radio station presenter Amansan Krakye on his drive show, the ‘’Lapaz Toyota ‘’ hitmaker made it known that, the main reason why Wutah was signed on to NKZ Music group was to bring back their great talent to the limelight. He said, ‘’ my team and I focus was to bring Wutah talent back to the limelight and also to take care of the business side of it.’’
He continued, ‘’although Wutah started when I was an underground artiste, we are all Ghanaian artiste, and there is the need for us to support each other to the top’’
When the host of the show asked Guru what influenced the change of his new Rastafarian look, the ‘’kokompe’’ hitmaker stated that,
‘’Rastafarian is from Africa, and naturally that’s how God created us. I am trying to look like our forefathers to suit our current way of life. So am only going back to my root, and it’s all part of my re-branding’’.
Guru later apologized to his loyal fans for his inability to release his album as promised due to technical challenges. He later edged them to continue enjoying his ninth video released out the ten videos he intends to get it released to the public.
He finally thanked his loyal fans all over the country for their support and words of encouragement to help push him to the top. Some of the Ghanaian artistes signed on to NKZ Music includes Wutah and Singlet.
